The Cancun half marathon will commemorate on 2 of March, the International Women's Day

Motion Events organisation, the municipality of Benito Juarez, with the support of the Convention and Visitors Bureau and with the coordination of the Municipal Sports Institute, invite you to enjoy Cancun and celebrate the International Women's Day by participating in:

Race start: Half Marathon: 06:30 - 10Km: 06:45

The course has been officially measured and certified by the Mexican Athletics Federation and the IAAF and AIMS.

Conditions to participate: Athletes born in 2007 or before are admitted. The Half Marathon is a race open to every athlete .
Neither Bicycles, skates nor others wheeling vehicles are not permitted on the course race, except wheelchair that have a special classification, or official vehicles.

The Event

Medio Maratón de Cancún - México - March 2, 2025 - 06:30 a.m.
Packets can be picked up at the Luxury Avenue km 13.5 de la Zona Hotelera de 11am a 8pm - Saturday 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. - CONFIRMATION and ID’s REQUIRED at Packet Pickup.

Registration Fees include:
- Technical T-shirt
- Medal (Only runners who cross the Finish line with: number, bracelet and chip)
- Water stations
- Recovery zone
- Competitor´s number
- Competitor's certificate
- Electronic timing chip
- Photos
- Video Results.

Cancellations:
Each entry is considered to be non-transferable and final and implies full acceptance of the rules. No refund will be made for any reason whatsoever. No transfer of registration is allowed, sub any reason. Anyone retroceding his bib to a third party be liable in case of accident or caused by the third party during the competition. The organization is exempt from any liability in case of accident in this kind of situation.

There will be no bibs mailed.

To ensure that the streets will be reopened to traffic in the following, the time to complete the Half marathon is 3:00. This limit will be strictly enforced. Participants must keep a pace that meets the arrival time running or walking. It starts when the last participant has crossed the starting line.

- Distance: 21Km, 10Km and 5Km.

Age Categories

When registering it is important to note your date of birth will reflect the age category you are allocated

Age categories in the Half Marathon and 10Km will be calculated based on date of birth details registered

- Women 18 to 39 / 40 to 49 / 50 to 59 / 60 and over
- Men 18 to 39 / 40 to 49 / 50 to 59 / 60 and over

Prize list structure (Mexican Pesos)

 

Awards will be given to the first, second and third place finishers overall open division in both categories:
Men / Women:
1st. $4,000.00
2nd. $3,000.00
3rd. $2,000.00

The other age categories will receive a cup
